With over 15 years experience in the sector, Jo has worked in all aspects of finance and brings a fresh view to the industry, with a vision of making finance more inclusive for everyone. This is highlighted through her podcast; That Mint Podcast whom she hosts with Cathi Harrison with the intention of showing the fun side of finance.
Sarah is the co-founder of Berry & Oak, an award winning Chartered and Accredited Financial Planning Firm based in Boston Spa, Yorkshire.
Sarah has worked in Financial Services for over 25 years holds both the Chartered and Certified Financial Planner status as well as being a Fellow of both the Chartered Insurance for Securities and Investment (CISI) and the Personal Finance Society.
Sarah is a volunteer member of the PFS Financial Planning Practitioner Panel helping to promote awareness of the “power” of financial planning and how we can make a positive difference to our client’s lives.
Sarah is also very passionate about making sure that all young people receive access to a financial education. She regularly delivers financial education workshops across schools in West and North Yorkshire.
Outside of the office, Sarah has a love of traveling the world and exploring new places. She loves photography and watching her 16-year-old son, Connor play Basketball. And I nearly forgot enjoying a nice G&T at the end of the week…
Kate Gannon is the founder of Themis Wealth Management where she is a Chartered financial planner and also a Trustee for Age UK Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. She is multi-award winning and very passionate about putting the mental health and wellbeing of her team ahead of all else and has led the way by ensuring a four day working week for her practice.
Jenette is a communications professional providing strategic public relations and content support to a range of financial services companies. She has over 20 years’ experience in the sector, both in-house and within agencies, and joined the lang cat, an independent insight, PR and communications consultancy specialising in financial services, in 2014.
Gemma has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years with experience at both mortgage lenders and distributors. She was Head of New Business at Mortgage Trust for 12 years before moving to Mortgage Next, becoming Managing Director in 2005. In March 2010, Gemma joined the Tenet group as Managing Director of TenetLIME, sitting on the Tenet Group board. In October 2017 she joined Quilter Financial Planning and is now Managing Director of the Network Advice Business.
Along with her roles within the industry Gemma has also been on the board of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries for over 7 years and sits on the FCA Small Business Practitioners Panel.
Most recently, Gemma’s work and achievements throughout her career have been recognised by Professional Adviser who have awarded her ‘Woman of the Year: Mortgages’ in both the 2019, and 2020 Women in Financial Advice awards.
Jackie Lockie, CFP, is the founder and director of Lockie Consultants. She has worked in financial services since 1988 in both technical and client-facing roles as a paraplanner and planner and formerly headed up the CISI financial planning team.

With over 20 years of experience, she has worked with clients in asset and wealth management, hedge funds, investment services and regulatory and business consultancy. Sally holds the investment management certificate and in addition to agency experience with Four Communications she has worked in PR, marketing and advertising roles for M&G, Henderson Global Investors and GAM.
Having been a financial adviser for over 25 years, Jo joined Cockburn Lucas in 2015.

Julia Peake is a Technical Specialist at Canada Life and in her financial services career has held many roles working with providers, wealth planners and national advisory networks in the pension, tax, trust and estate planning markets. Julia’s focus is in the tax, trust and estate planning arena writing articles and assisting with technical queries, as well as delivering presentations on a range of estate planning subjects both locally and nationally.

Yasmina Siadatan is Sales and Marketing Director at Dynamic Planner, and part of the Executive Management Team and the Board. She is an integral contributor to decision making in the business, working in tandem with the senior team at Dynamic Planner to lead and deliver on its marketing-led growth strategy and further build the Dynamic Planner brand.
Previously, as Creative Director of Start Up Loans, Yasmina headed marketing and communications for the government’s flagship scheme which provided access to finance for small businesses. She worked for Lord Sugar in 2009 having won the fifth series of BBC One’s The Apprentice, heading up his flagship tech and digital media organisation and overseeing product marketing and advertising sales to blue chip organisations. Lucie Thornton has worked in the financial services sector for more than 20 years and ran her own HR consultancy for six years before joining The Private Office as HR director.
