Emerging Future: Rethinking the World's Growth Engine

Emerging markets are still widely filed under three assumptions: too volatile, too homogeneous, and short on genuinely world class companies. This presentation dismantles the outdated narrative and then turns to the more interesting question: the widening set of areas where emerging markets now lead rather than follow and what a patient, fundamental approach can do with that.

Learning Objectives:

  • Reassess commonly held assumptions about Emerging Markets
  • Understand how the EM asset class has evolved and why it may be poised for a period of sustained outperformance
  • Explore how a fundamental, long-term approach to growth investing can uncover opportunities across EM
