Jamie Fowler, Head of UK Wealth, Schroders

Jamie was appointed Head of UK Wealth in May 2025. He has been at Schroders since 2002, primarily servicing Regional Discretionary Wealth clients in the North of England & Scotland. He started leading the Regional Wealth team in April 2021. Jamie has responsibility for leading the UK Wealth business across a number of client channels including Sub Advised, Investment Trusts, Discretionary Wealth and Financial Advisers. Prior to joining Schroders, Jamie worked at HSBC Asset Management. Holds IMC qualification.

Stuart Podmore, Investment Propositions Director, Schroders

Stuart presents and broadcasts to clients globally on Markets, Macroeconomics, Geopolitics and Behavioural Finance both from the Schroders studio and in person at conferences. Increasingly, he interviews key figures within and beyond the industry to provide additional insight for clients. Stuart joined Schroders in 2015 as Investment Propositions Director after over 15 years in investment at Barclays and JPMorgan Asset Management where latterly, he worked as Client Portfolio Manager, Global Fixed Income. Stuart served six years as a Royal Artillery officer, deploying on operations to Northern Ireland and the Former Republic of Yugoslavia, and served with the Reserve Forces for several years. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Chartered Institute of Marketing Post Graduate Diploma.

Philip Martin, CEO, Unique Financial Planning

Philip is the CEO for Unique Financial Planning, a general advice business with over thirty advisers operating from offices in Surrey, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Dorset, alongside a couple of other non-executive roles. Before this, he was Proposition and Marketing Director at Openwork for six years, with responsibility for product propositions, marketing, PR and leading its investment company, Omnis Investments. Prior to that, Philip spent two years with F&C Investments with responsibility for the asset manager’s UK retail proposition and was Business Development Director at wrap provider Nucleus Financial Group, which he co-founded in 2006. He had previously been a founder-director of consultancy Abacus Financial Marketing, working with more than 65 life companies, asset managers, IFAs and industry bodies on a variety of strategic and proposition projects.
