Tom is an Executive Director within MSCI's index product team where he serves as the Head of Indexed Licensing for the EMEA region. Tom works with the world's leading asset owners and managers in his role, where he leads the licensing strategy of MSCI's indexes for both internal benchmarking as well as product creation purposes including mandates, funds, and ETFs.

Before assuming this role and relocating to London, Tom led the firm's Investment Consultant coverage team in the United States for both the Index and ESG Research product suites as well as acted as a global relationship manager for several of the firm's most strategic clients. Prior to joining MSCI, Tom held numerous coverage roles at what is now S&P and was also on the institutional sales and trading desk of a global broker-dealer.

Tom was educated in the US where he earned his BA and MBA from the University of Virginia and the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business respectively. He has also earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), the Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations and accordingly is a member of the CFA Institute, the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and the CAIA Association.
