Ben is MSCI’s EMEA Head of Factor Index Products, based in London, responsible for index product development plus commercial and investment strategy of MSCI's Equity Factor Franchise across the EMEA region.

Having studied Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Nottingham (UK), Ben started his career in Sydney, Australia, where he spent a decade with Barclays Global Investors (BGI) in various client coverage and investment consulting roles.

In 2010 Ben relocated from Sydney to Hong Kong, spending ten years with BlackRock, working as a senior strategist in the ETF and Index business, then as a the Head of Product Strategy for the Factor-Based Strategies Group.

Throughout his time with BGI and BlackRock, Ben had deep exposure to MSCI as a client, so his current role is a natural progression from his experiences on the buy-side of the investments industry.
