Professional Adviser is once again proud to host the Women In Financial Advice Awards, with 2026 marking the awards’ eighth year.

Nominations and entries continue to go from strength to strength – a true testament to the amazing work done by women across advice and financial services.

WIFA is here to shout about the achievements of women in the sector and shine a light on organisations that are going the extra mile to promote DE&I and fairness in the workplace. Our message is clear – this isn’t about men versus women or who does the job better, it is simply about celebrating and recognising the achievements of women in a sector where they continue to be under-represented.

While female adviser numbers are slowly edging up, they remain stubbornly low at 18% of the total adviser workforce. It is a similar story across FS senior leadership.

WIFA hopes to make an impact by showcasing the best of the best across the industry and shouting about their achievements.

WIFA winners are often out there promoting financial services as a career to other women, building strong networks and mentoring female colleagues - all alongside the business of their actual day job.

We think they deserve some recognition and perhaps a nice shiny trophy to take home with them.
