Dan joined Orbis Investments in 2002 as part of the investment team. From 2006-16, he was responsible for building out and leading the global sector investment team in London. In 2016 he was appointed as UK Head, responsible for Orbis' 180 UK-based staff and the firm’s UK clients. In 2023, he became a director of the Independent Investment Management Initiative.
