Gillian Hepburn, Head of UK Intermediary Solutions

Gillian has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and joined Schroders in 2019 as Head of UK Intermediary Solutions. She is responsible for investment solutions for the UK Intermediary channel which includes Schroder Investment Solutions, a range of model portfolios and multi-asset funds. Gillian is a well-known and respected industry figure and regularly speaks at conferences and provides industry press comment. She was named ‘Woman of the Year – Investment’ at Professional Adviser’s Women in Financial Advice Awards 2021.

Doug Abbott, Head of UK Intermediary Sales

Doug Abbott has been Head of UK Intermediary at Schroders since April 2020. Doug joined Schroders in 2008 on the Schroders graduate scheme. From 2010 to 2015 Doug was responsible for the business development and marketing of our investment trust business across the UK and managing relationships with discretionary investors in London. In 2015 Doug moved to Cape Town to set up our business in South Africa and was focused on building this business until April 2020. Doug has a BA Hons in Modern History from Oxford University, a MSc in African Studies from Oxford University and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
