Welcome to the Professional Adviser
Working Lunches Series 2021

Professional Adviser is partnering with a number of sponsors to host a series of 1 hour online Working Lunch sessions addressing key issues affecting advisers and their clients during this challenging period. These are FREE to advisers and will be held via the Zoom platform so no special software is required.

New sessions will be announced on an ongoing basis. All Working Lunches qualify for CPD and attendees will qualify for one ticket (per event attended) in our December £2,500 KUONI Holiday voucher prize draw.

N.B. This event is complimentary to UK Senior Financial Advisers. CF30 registered. Maximum two attendees per company. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Keeping it real – how to combat inflation and generate a sustainable income for life?

Central banks have been desperately trying to battle disinflationary forces for many years. How worried should we be if they finally succeed? Inflation has a powerful impact on the value of money over time. Today’s savers need to think carefully about their future needs: an income stream they can rely on for decades to come. With bond yields rising from historical lows, which assets can combat rising inflation? With dividends decimated by a crisis that has accelerated some seismic societal shifts, which companies are best positioned to face the challenges of tomorrow? Join us to look into the future and discuss how investors can source a reliable and sustainable stream of income that will last a lifetime.

Wealth transfer – What about divorce?

Wealth transfer – What about divorce? Approximately 42% of marriages end in divorce. During the first lockdown the number of divorce enquiries at times peaked at a 75% increase compared to 2019. The impact for many is not just emotional but financial with women often finding themselves with a substantial lump sum but an average pension pot of three quarters that of their ex!

Continuing the wealth transfer theme, Gillian Hepburn will be joined by advisers specialising in this field to share their experiences and how they work with this specific client segment.
