Professional Adviser Working Lunch
with Baillie Gifford
24th February 2021 | 13:00 - 14:00 | Live Online
Value vs Growth? It’s an age-old question, and not one anybody can conclusively answer in an hour-long webinar, but with the tech bubble bloating in North America it’s certainly a topic that needs to be addressed. And few are better placed than Baillie Gifford, famous winners from backing the likes of Tesla and Amazon in recent years, to try and argue the case for the continued support of growth stocks while counterparts sound alarm bells of a potential bubble burst.
In this webinar PA’s Tom Ellis will sit down with Baillie Gifford’s Lucy Haddow to discuss why the idea of growth versus value may not be a sensible starting point, why very few stocks actually matter and how Baillie Gifford’s Managed Fund team go about finding exceptional growth companies for the next 10 years.
