Sarah Elson is the co-founder of Berry & Oak, an award-winning Chartered and Accredited Financial Planning Firm based in Boston Spa, Yorkshire.

She has worked in Financial Services for over 30 years and holds both the Chartered and Certified Financial Planner status. She is also a Fellow of both the Chartered Insurance Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and the Personal Finance Society.

Sarah is passionate about ensuring young people have access to financial education and regularly delivers financial education workshops in schools across West and North Yorkshire.

She is a member of the New Talent Alliance, a group formed to help firms attract, recruit, train, and retain new talent across the financial planning profession.

Outside of work, Sarah loves travelling and exploring new places, with a personal goal to visit a new destination every year. She also has a keen interest in photography and enjoys watching her 19-year-old son, Connor, play lacrosse. She also runs her own travel business, SEE Worldwide Travel. At the end of the week, she enjoys a nice G&T!
