Career: Nick Stanhope is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Morningstar’s Investment Management group for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. With over 30 years’ experience in the investment industry, his investment responsibilities span across both UK and International investment ranges, whilst leading on the Active and Income managed portfolio ranges, and co-manager on the Carne Morningstar Multi Asset fund range. He sits on Morningstar’s Portfolio Review Committee and takes overall responsibility for the Active Fund Selection Committee.

Nick’s experience encompasses multi-asset portfolio management, asset allocation, manager research and selection including within alternative investments. Prior to joining Morningstar, he managed a range of risk rated multi-asset model portfolios on behalf of the investment platform, Praemium, sold into the UK and the Middle East. His career in the investment industry started in 1995 with Cazenove Fund Management, which included equity sector research responsibilities on behalf of institutional pension clients, before working for Chiswell Associates providing discretionary investment management to Charity clients. Nick has also acted as a management consultant to investment management companies, working for KPMG and as a financial adviser for Santander.
