Welcome to the ESG Roadshow 2022
11th - 20th October
Harrogate | Knutsford | Birmingham | Bristol | London
As we transition out of the UK’s equal hottest summer on record, there is no doubt that the effects of climate change are becoming ever more tangible. Environmental concerns are just some in the ESG trifecta altering every perspective we bring to the saving and investing of money.
Advisers are at the forefront of this accelerated period of change in how sustainability is managed, implemented, regulated and discussed. That said, the reality is that the market is a complex one for advisers to navigate – data is not always complete, fund houses are operating different ESG strategies, and clients are more knowledgeable than ever, expressing a wide variety of ESG preferences and ideas for aligning their money to evolving agendas.
Professional Adviser’s 2022 ESG Roadshow will include a keynote presentation from Square Mile Investment Consulting & Research questioning whether it pays to be a responsible investor, along with a look into its rigorous rating mechanism for ESG funds.
Presentations from leading fund houses Albemarle Street Partners, Baillie Gifford, Eden Tree, Pictet, and Quilter will break down important topics including Consumer Duty obligations, fund labelling, ESG misconceptions and diversification options to equip you to adapt your existing advice process effectively.
We look forward to you joining us for a busy morning of ESG debate at one of our five venues this October.

Sustainability
Professional Advisers is committed to the journey in becoming more sustainable. By using the guidelines set out by Ecovadis, we will be working towards the accreditation. The goal is to reduce paper consumption across events and improve recycling rates, curb food waste and alter menus with an aim to include locally sourced, organic produce. We have also committed to deliver carbon offsetting at events wherever possible and provide delegates with accessible venues. We will be closely evaluating each event and considering how we can improve in the following areas; energy, transport, water usage, recycling, economic and local environment/community.
Carbon Offsetting
Incisive Media have partnered with Ecosphere+ to ensure all our remaining greenhouse gas emissions are offset. Working with Ecosphere+, we calculate the emissions from all our events, including those from event operations, venues and delegates. We then purchase the equivalent number of carbon offset credits to counter-act our activities. These credits are supporting the protection of vital rainforest in Peru, by funding conservation work and creating sustainable sources of income for locals to minimise incentives for deforestation. Covid-19
The health and safety of our attendees and staff is our top priority and so we will continue to monitor developments in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic and will follow Government guidance on public gatherings.
We are currently working with all our venues, as well as catering, AV and production contractors to ensure that we provide a safe environment for all at the event.
This event is working towards the International Standard ISO 20121 and follows guidance set out by the Sustainable Event Alliance (SEA)
