Diane is responsible for managing the consulting process and output as well as looking after a number of investment consulting clients. As part of this role, she regularly attends external investment and governance committees providing strategic and fund oversight to many different clients. She is also a member of Square Mile's Research & Consulting Management team. As a senior member of the research team, Diane also co-leads our multi-asset research and is a regular press commentator on the multi-asset sector. Prior to joining Square Mile she was Co-Head of Manager Selection within the Portfolio Management team at Morningstar, a multi-asset research lead at OBSR and Head of Research at Investment at Origen Financial Services. Diane has a degree in Economics and Politics from Exeter University and also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Tom has been editor of Professional Adviser and Multi-Asset Review since August 2019. He started his career at PA in 2016 and held a number of positions at Incisive Media before this latest promotion.
Jock is responsible for the development and delivery of strategy across both research and consulting functions as well as team and project management. Prior to joining Square Mile, Jock was a Managing Director at JP Morgan Asset Management, where he worked in the Investment Trust business for 7 years and the European Equities team for 6 years. He was previously sales director of investment trusts at Close Finsbury Asset Management and before that was a private client investment manager at Rathbones. Jock is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities & Investment Institute and holds the SFA Registered Securities qualification.
Dawn Jukes joined Wesleyan Financial Services in 2007 in the Learning and Development Function, having worked in Financial Services since leaving Sussex University in 1997 with a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics. Her current role focuses on supporting examination attainment from Diploma to Chartered Level. She is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, and also holds a Trustee role for a Pension Scheme as well as being a school Governor. Dawn has been supporting the PFS Educational Champion scheme since February 2019.
Lindsey joined Baillie Gifford in June 2008 and is a Client Service Director in the Clients Department. She is also a Multi Asset Product Specialist. Lindsey graduated MA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Glasgow in 1999. In addition, she is a graduate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
Scott joined Baillie Gifford in 2015 and is an Investment Manager in the Multi Asset Team. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford, he worked for Schroders in London, BEA Union in Hong Kong and Towers Watson. Scott graduated BSc in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics from Heriot-Watt University in 1999. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
Dan joined Merian Global Investors in December 2019. He was previously portfolio manager at Kestrel, which he joined in 2017, after working as a consultant to the group since the launch of the Kestrel Global Portfolio in April 2012. Dan previously worked at Hilltop Fund Management as a senior analyst focusing primarily on quantitative hedge fund analysis and on the development of absolute return portfolios. Prior to that he was with Signet Capital Management where he was instrumental in the founding of their alternative UCITS business. He holds a BSc in Management from Manchester Business School, is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Brendan is a vice president leading the International Portfolio Strategy team of Strategic Advisory Solutions. Brendan helps European, Asian, and African financial institutions serving retail and high-net-worth investors, corporate retirement plans, and other institutional investors develop investment policy and strategy.
Brendan joined Goldman Sachs in 2008 as a regional consultant within GSAM’s Third Party Distribution group, focusing on the firm’s wire-house relationships. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Brendan ran a practice as a financial adviser at Ameriprise Financial.
Brendan received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.A. in Finance from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan.
Rob joined Orbis in 2011. He is a member of Orbis’ team of investment counsellors with primary responsibility for institutional client and consultant communications. Rob has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Carnegie Mellon University, and is a CFA charter holder.
Helen joined Baillie Gifford in 2014 and is a Client Service Manager and Multi Asset Product Specialist. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford, she was a manager in the Transaction Services Team for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Helen graduated BA (Hons) in Business Accounting and Finance from Newcastle University in 2010 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW in 2011.
Most recently a partner at the international hedge fund advisory firm, Sussex Partners, Peter brings around 35 years of capital markets experience to IPSX. Peter previously spent three years at Odey Asset Management, first as Head of Institutional Sales and then as a Partner working with a diverse investor base including family offices and wealth managers. Prior to that, he had a 16 year career at Deutsche Bank, where he was a founder member of the UK Equities Sales Desk and held a variety of senior roles including Head of UK Sales, Head of UK Equities, Head of Pan-European Equity Sales and Head of Global Equity Sales, where he was ranked top three by key global buy-side teams.
